Request or Challenge a Credit Card Report One letter is used to request a copy of
a credit report from a credit bureau • To request a copy of your credit report. For instance, if you have been denied credit by some
party.The other letter is used to correct an unfavorable entry in a credit report file, or to add an explanation to the file
regarding the unfavorable entry • Challenge an unfavorable entry or mistake in your credit report • Request the deletion of information
more than seven years old (ten years in the case of bankruptcy) • Have your response to an unfavorable entry in your credit report
